The voice is a very powerful and personal expression of our being. Here we are using our voice to balance and deepen our Meditation practice.

In the Tibetan Boen Tradition the voice has been used for over two thousand years as a tool to focus the mind and move the subtle energies of the body.

The voice is used as a skilful tool for deepening calmness and connecting with ourselves in a different way. Well grounded in awareness of the body, we direct simple sounds and syllables to the different energy centres of the body. Through utilizing the power of the voice and in exploring the vibration of the sound, energy can soften and flow more freely and the heart and mind naturally balance and expand.

This supportive practice is for anyone who wishes to explore body, mind and heart to free themselves for greater expression. It is suitable for anyone with any or no meditation experience and certainly also for those who use their voice for talking only.

Land of Dreams.
Recorded in Cork and Kolkata (Calcutta), this CD is a tribute to the musicians of olden times and their music. Fine musicians from both the Indian and Irish traditions present their music in a way which is attractive to people today.
Here’s the story of the Music from the Land of Dreams, as mentioned on this beautiful CD: Once upon a time there was a land where no one was in a hurry. People there liked to listen to slow music. Sometimes they listened to music so slow it did not seem to have any beat at all. It took many years to learn to play slow music. Students did not mind because they had all the time in the world. And so they threw themselves into perfecting their art, knowing that their efforts would be rewarded by  the King  and they would have a worthy livelihood. Some say this land was called Ancient Ireland and the slow music was called Sean Nos, some say this land was called India and the masters where the Sitar players and singers.

You will be enchanted and enriched by listening to these CDs.
