Kalyana has a range of CD’s designed to be a guide for deepening and expanding Meditation practice and for developing increased intuitive awareness, insight and compassion in knowing the way things are. They can be a powerful tool to be used on a regular basis for relaxation and relieving stress. These CDs are used in the 8-Week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course. They can also be used individually as needed to stay connected, to relieve stress and to enhance the daily practice of Mindfulness.
Guided Meditation 1: Body Scan
This CD by Timothy Sweeney can help the cultivation of Mindfulness both as a formal meditation practice and as a tool for opening, healing and expanding one's intuitive awareness and deeper insight into the nature of who we are. Developing more ease, self acceptance and compassion for others and ourselves. It is helpful to use this CD on a regular basis for relieving stress and for deeper relaxation.
Guided Meditation 2: Movement-Yoga
Using gentle movement and Yoga exercises we learn to be grounded in the body moment-by-moment, learning exercises to stretch, expand, release and let go. Guided Meditation 3 : Sitting Meditation
Sitting Meditation gives us the opportunity to see the body, mind and emotions, and their relation to each other more intimately. Seeing our relationship to life allows us to learn to let go of that which is unhelpful in our lives and to embrace all of life more fully, with joy and compassion. This CD was designed to be a guide for deepening and expanding intuitive awareness, insight and compassion.
How to use the CDs
Meditation practice is a time of non-doing, a period set aside just for being with yourself - for healing and awakening. It is best to use these CDs on a regular basis - in a quiet place. Allow yourself the time to be fully present. Relax into just being with yourself. If you are alert and relaxed you will see that you are awake and aware, seeing and feeling the life within you unfolding moment by moment without any expections. You can let go of judgements and accept yourself as you are. This way you can be open to whatever arises, be it pleasant or unpleasant.
